Serving regions in Minnesota and Wisconsin including the cities of Rochester, Winona, La Crosse, Onalaska, Holmen and Arcadia.

Objectives Minimize

The objectives of the La Crosse PMI Chapter is to provide a forum for discussion and examination of ideas related to the management of projects and aiding with problems, solutions, and applications. Help promote the membership and goals of the national Project Management Institute.

Geographic Area and Meetings Minimize

Our chapter has approximately 130 members representing all types of employers in the tri-state area. The La Crosse, WI PMI chapter includes cities such as La Crosse, Onalaska, and Holmen, Wisconsin as well as Rochester, Winona, La Crescent, and Zumbrota, MN.

Members meet monthly in various locations - often in Rochester, MN and La Crosse, WI. Format of meetings include networking, dinner, a brief update from the board followed by a guest speaker presentation usually focused on real challenges of project managers.

Region 2 Minimize

Region 2’s motto is “Region 2 Rocks!”. The La Crosse chapter belongs to Region 2, which includes 21 chapters in ND, SD, NE, MN, IA, WI, IL, IN, North Saskatchewan and Manitoba. A couple of times a year the leadership of these chapters gather together to share best practices.

 

The Region 2 mentor is currently Mark Swiderski, out of the Northeast Wisconsin (NEW) chapter.
